This program encourages parents, grandparents, or guardians to read aloud and bond with their child through fun, engaging stories. Perfect for building early literacy skills and creating special memories. Visit the Youth Services Department to get your first reading log.
You can pick up bookmark reading logs at the library or you can download their own here: Read to Me Reading Logs.
Reading Dragons and Friends
For ages 5-17
Kids and teens read to earn awesome trading card decks featuring dragons, unicorns, and more that they can use to play games with friends. For every ten minutes they read, they’ll color in one of the eggs on a bookmark reading log. Once they’ve colored in all six eggs, they bring their log to the Youth Services Department to get their cards.
