Donating To The Library

donation heart handAs a library supporter, your financial donations will help purchase much needed books, learning materials, publications and services which improve the lives of so many. It is vital that the Library stay current with today’s fast paced and ever changing world of information.  While the cost of materials – books, books on tapes, CD’s, DVD’s, Books on CD, Playaways and large print books continues to rise, our budget does not. That’s why funding for library collections is so important.

The library accepts donations of recent books, recorded books, CDs and DVDs.  Donations should be clean and in good condition.  We do not accept donations of old news magazines, textbooks, encyclopedias or VHS.

Smart Lockers

smart lockersSmart Lockers located outside of our front doors offer a new option for picking up your requested library materials at your convenience, even when the library is not open. You can choose this option when requesting materials online or just give us a call, and we’ll set it up for you. When your requested items are ready here for pick up, you’ll get an email or text that has both a QR code to scan or a digital code to punch in at the lockers. Once you do that, the locker door opens and you can grab your items and be on your way.

The lockers were made possible by a state-funded grant that focused on how to get materials to patrons when the library is not open.
